In our high-tech society it is important to pause and reflect upon the universal journey through life. None of us are the same person we were yesterday, or will be tomorrow. We are the composite of our memories and the stories we have been told. My work speaks to a delicate equanimity, a balance that exists in our lives and speaks of those who have gone before us, addressing the same concerns then and now. Each of my pieces tells a story, a fantasy or a dream in which the viewer can indulge a sense of exploration and discovery. What is intentionally ambiguous can also enlighten through symbolism and narritive where I play the coquette and you the viewer find the clues that make the work speak to you personally.
