The list of artists who will be appearing at this year's Festival is now available. We are very excited to see the depth of talent that will be coming to Paducah. This is regional talent folks, selected to showcase the richness of art that characterizes this part of the country. We can be justly proud of what we have to offer. Finely crafted jewelry, ceramics, woodwork, glass. Top notch painting, sculpture and photography. All coming to the streets of Lower Town. Here is the link that shows it all. Music Lineup Announced
The announcement party at Paducah Beer Werks was a huge success. Seth Murphy has put together an incredible array of talent. We are featuring band info on the website here as well as Facebook in the coming weeks. The final schedule for both stages on Friday and Saturday will be announced shortly before the Festival.

Old Salt Union, Spaceface, Ben Sollee, Vandaveer, Great Peacock, The Paducah Symphony Orchestra, Diane Coffee, Alonzo Pennington, Nathan Blake Lynn, Leonard the Band, the Paducah Jazz Ensemble, JD Wilkes, Chris Black, the Solid Rock'it Boosters, Big Atomic, Ona, Quailbones, Ryan Brewer, The Monolithic, Bill Eberte, Sam Hadfield, Tyler Childers & the Foodstamps, Skinny Jim and the Number 9 Blacktops, and the 2016 WKMS Battle of the Bands winner, Savage Radley.
Children's Activity Tents
Purchase Area Family Magazine/iList Western Kentucky will once again be sponsoring the Children's Activities at this year's Festival. The redoubtable Karen Hammond will lead the effort as usual. She has assembled some wonderful stuff. Read about it here!
Drum Making Returns to the Festival!
Once again, Christi Bonds-Garrett will be demonstrating drum and rattle making at AromaSounds, 233 North 7th Street (just across the street from the Festival) on Saturday, May 14th. Follow this link for more info and make plans to attend!

The Festival usually happens the week before Memorial Day. Not next year! Due to schedule conflicts the dates of the Festival have been changed to Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th. Please update your calendar reminders!

The artists and musicians for this year's Festival have been chosen. Stay tuned for bios, images, and videos of many of them. We're excited with the talent coming to Paducah and we want you to be excited too!
The Lower Town Arts & Music Festival in Paducah, Kentucky is THE regional Festival for Western Kentucky and the surrounding area. The Festival's mission is to celebrate the cultural richness of this part of the country. We know we have a great thing going on here and we want to present it to you every year at the Festival in Lower Town... regional music, art, theater, food! We have a great Children’s Area every year so bring the whole family! Admission is FREE.
This Festival has been selected as one of the Top Ten Spring Festivals in Kentucky by the Kentucky State Tourism Bureau.
